LawnBook™ includes a built-in website builder that gives your lawn care business a professional online presence without needing a web designer. Pick a template, add your services and contact info, and publish — clients can find you and request a quote directly from your site.

Getting Started

The Website Builder is available from the More tab. If this is your first time, you'll see a welcome screen that walks you through the three-step setup: template, content, publish.

Tip: Complete your Business Profile in Settings first. The website builder pulls your business name, phone, and service area from your profile automatically.

Template Selection

Choose from several professionally designed templates built specifically for lawn care businesses. Each template is mobile-first and loads fast on any device.

Available templates

  • Classic Green — clean, traditional look with a prominent call-to-action and services grid
  • Modern Dark — bold, high-contrast design that matches the LawnBook aesthetic
  • Neighborhood Pro — warm, community-focused layout with testimonial section
  • Commercial Focus — professional layout suited for HOA and commercial clients

Tap any template to preview it with sample content. You can switch templates at any time — your content carries over when you switch.

Editing Content

Tap any section of the template to edit it. The builder uses a simple tap-to-edit interface — no code or drag-and-drop complexity.

Sections you can edit

  • Headline — the main message visitors see first (e.g., "Professional Lawn Care in [Your City]")
  • About — a short paragraph about your business and service area
  • Services — list each service with a short description and optional price range
  • Testimonials — add 2–3 client quotes to build trust
  • Contact & Service Area — phone, email, and the zip codes or neighborhoods you cover
1

Tap the Headline section and enter your business name and tagline.

2

Tap Services and add each service you offer. Include a brief description and a starting price if you want to show it publicly.

3

Tap About to write a short description of your business, how long you've been operating, and why clients choose you.

4

Add at least one testimonial from a happy client. Real quotes from real customers outperform any marketing copy.

Upload your business logo from your photo library. The logo appears in the header of every page and on the quote form. Use a square PNG image with a transparent background for best results.

You can also set a primary color that adjusts button colors and accent elements across the template to match your brand.

Tip: No logo yet? The builder uses your business initials as a text mark until you upload one. You can always add a logo later without republishing — it updates automatically.

Preview

Before publishing, tap Preview to see exactly how your site will look on both phone and desktop. The preview opens in a browser-like view inside the app. Check:

  • All section text looks right and has no placeholder content
  • Your logo and colors appear correctly
  • The quote form is visible and the submit button works
  • Your phone number and email are correct in the contact section

Publish

When you're satisfied with the preview, tap Publish. Your site goes live at a LawnBook subdomain in the format:

  • yourbusiness.lawnbook.site

Share this link anywhere — put it in your email signature, add it to Google Business Profile, or share it in neighborhood groups. The site is indexed by search engines automatically.

1

Tap Publish in the top-right corner of the builder.

2

Your site URL is shown. Tap to copy it and share it wherever you market your business.

3

Any future edits you make are saved as a draft. Tap Publish again to push updates live.

Note: Publishing requires an active LawnBook subscription. Sites remain live as long as your subscription is active.

Quote Request Form

Every published site includes a built-in quote request form. When a visitor fills it out, you receive a notification in LawnBook and the request appears in your Leads inbox. The form captures:

  • Visitor's name, phone, and email
  • Service address
  • Services they're interested in (from your services list)
  • Preferred contact method and any notes

From the lead inbox, you can convert the request directly into a new client and send a formal estimate in two taps. No manual data re-entry required.

Custom Domain (Coming Soon)

Support for connecting your own domain (e.g., yourlawnbiz.com) to your LawnBook site is planned for a future update. When available, you'll be able to enter your domain in Settings and follow the DNS configuration steps provided.

In the meantime: If you already own a domain, you can set up a redirect from your domain to your .lawnbook.site URL through your domain registrar. Contact support if you need help with this.
